Everyone is great! But sadly we have lost  6 cats this summer. ??Mystery?? I'm guessing some predator is coming up and getting them considering they won't hardly leave the barn unless they are following us around.

I know I have said it a hundred times, but it has been a while! It is hard for me to keep up with the blog because I'm not much for hanging on the computer. But recently we have acquired some new friends. Hermit Crabs! They are super easy and cheap once you get them set up in their tank and they have the perfect environment. As a matter of fact Diego is molting right now! Also I have been offered a few animals lately and though I am not able to keep them all (space and money reasons) I am finding them good homes. :) Everyone else is fine except for a rabbit and a chicken. The chicken is skinny and malnourished, but she acts the same and eats the same so I think its worms so I have to de-worm her. The rabbit has an abbess that we have been battling for about 3 months now. But the penicillin shots and the Corona ointment that we have recently tried seem to be helping a lot. Please keep them in ya'll's prayers!

Well It has been really busy lately. We have been preparing for the cold cold nights, but surprisingly the day time has been really warm out considering how cold the nights are. We also have a new addition to our ever growing family! A new kitten!! The only one in the litter. He is growing so fast. His mom is doing good. She is small so its not too suprising that she only had one. But they are both doing fine.

Sad news: We lost a chicken. She was stepped on by one of the horses. She had to be put down. :(

Wow! It has been a long while since I have made a post! Don't worry, we are still alive out here. School has started and holidays are coming so our schedule has been packed! But everyone is fine. Zack has grown up and now live in a nice cage in my room. The polish chicks are also grow. The hens now lay eggs and they participated in a chicken show! Sleepy won best of variety (she was the only variety though). The roos have very big egos and pepper like to take a spar at my legs from time to time.
     The horses are fine too. They have adjusted well to their new home. The kittens are growing fast and are the most lovable! The rabbits are fine too. I am selling two of them. I'll post a offer on that next. The dogs are fine too. They guard the place 24/7. We are putting up a gate in the front. The horse stall is finished it just has to be painted.
     And that about sums it up for now. I'll make another post after school. Sorry its been so long!

Zack is doing great! he is all grown up now! I have enter 2 chickens in our local county fair. I hope they place something! The horses need to be dewormed, but we are going to have a neighbor come and help us. I am also looking for an excellent home for 2 rabbits. So click the link to get more info!

Well everyone is fine. Its been incredibly hot and it is suppost to be over 100 degrees all week. So all summer everyone gets two water sources. My grandad is better. He is starting to do lots of things at the farm. He is almost 100% better. We also have a new addition to our large animal family. A mouse! His name is Zack and he is about 12 days old. I am nursing him every 2 hours.  Here is a pic of him:

Building production has temporarily stopped. My granddad has had surgery and a UTI. But he is making a good recovery and should be back to building soon. Please keep praying!

The horses are doing great! They have adjusted well. I'm so glad we have them! :)

Well, its been a long while! We have been sooo busy getting ready for the horses, But we got 'em!! Yay! They got here Saturday. Here are some pics:



Hi, everyone! Its been a while! We have been so busy! We are finishing up our horse stall. Our mini horses are supposed to be here next weekend. We are so excited! The baby bunnies are almost 10 weeks old and I'm  still trying to find them homes. I have someone who is interested. I hope they take some. They are so cute and deserve great homes.

Everyone is doing great! We are preparing for the summer heat and with that we are getting more water sources.

The baby bunnies are ready to leave the nest! They are weaned and next week they will be ready to go to good homes.

Something happened to our cat last week and she disappeared. Last night when i went outside i found her! Yay! She came back!!

The baby bunnies turned four weeks old yesterday!!!they are growing so fast!

It has been very rainy and cloudy out here in Abilene, TX.

The baby bunnies are doing very good. The chicks are doing good too. We go some kittens. We found them and decided to keep them! They are so adorable! We have picked out names for them too! But we have to find them homes when they are old enough.

The baby bunnies are doing very well. They are following their mother everywhere and she is getting very agitated because she can't get a break! The chicks are growing really fast too! They are about 10 weeks old now and are growing everyday! The temperature is rising quickly and it appears that it will be another long summer drought. But hopefully today's rain will prolong it or more rain will come and keep it away completely!
